As much as we'd love to tell you we were conjured into being by a magical tanuki, the truth is we were built on one thing: our owner's borderline-unhealthy obsession with good food and good drinks — an obsession their friends happily enabled.

They could never quite shake the homesickness. But they'd built a whole life here and weren't about to give that up either.

So they did the only sensible thing: cast a few ancient spells and pieced us together — a Japanese eatery with a hidden neighbourhood cocktail bar, pouring classics and originals inspired by every walk of life.

That said… we've never seen our owner and a certain large tanuki in the same room 🤔

    You can find them doing anything from running drinks and greeting guests to putting their butcher qualifications to use in the kitchen

    Our resident anime fan with a love of making drinks to match.

    You’ll see them bouncing around the venue and if you manage to catch her, ask her about kebabs
